If you're looking for a good art app for iPad, I did a lot of work with Procreate when I had one. I was really pleased with how many options they had and how it handled compared to physical drawing. It cost me about $6 but over the course of two years I feel like I definitely got a lot for my money. You should check it out. I felt like there weren't a lot of nice art apps for the iPad for serious artists rather than just for doodling but I really enjoyed using it. I've also heard good things about the paid version of Sketchbook, which you can try out in the free version. Hope this is maybe helpful through my own trial and error XD
